It is expected to last 3 days, starting Wednesday Sept. 4 and ending that Friday.

2. What is the purpose of these hearings?
They will decide if he is fit to be a Supreme Court judge.

3. Why are Democrats arguing that this judge may have a conflict of interest in the future?
He seems to believe the president should have a semi-immunity to the law.

4. What do most people expect to be the result of these hearings? 
They expect him to pass the hearings.

5. What did Brett Kavanaugh do before he was nominated to this post?
He was a DC Circuit Court of Appeals Judge.

6. Why do you think his role in the Clinton investigation is important to some people?
It can display his views on presidential investigations for the future.

7. Which of Kavanaugh's political opinions seem the most important to Democrats?
"...His perspective on Roe vs Wade, his willingness to preserve protections for those with pre-existing health conditions, and his stance on gun control" are of most importance to them.

8. Other than Kavanaugh, who else will be questioned in these hearings?
Senators Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, and Amy Klobuchar will be questioned.

They are voting to bring him closer to him being in the Supreme Court.
